General Interest Groups

Card Making Group (Currently in recess)

The Card Making Group meets on the second Wednesday afternoon following the Club’s monthly meeting.

Members “show and tell” what cards they have made and exchange ideas relating to card making with each other.

Music Group

The Music Group meets on the 4th Friday of every month at 10am. A second group meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 2pm.

Our music group is not a formal group – there are no rules or regulations.

The only requirement is to enjoy a relaxed afternoon listening to a selection of music that group members bring along on CDs.

Music can cover all types from orchestral through to popular music.

Discussion Group

The Discussion Group meets on the 4th Friday of each month at 10am.

Each meeting members are invited to bring along any topic that they would like to discuss as a group. It is a fun meeting and there are lots of laughs.

Book Group

The Book Group meets on the 1st Friday of the month at 2pm.

Sharing our enjoyment of reading is at the heart of the Book Group.

Our choice of books is very varied, we frequently exchange books we own but many of our readers use the Library and some read online books as well.

Computer Support Group

The Millennium Club Computer Support Group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9.30 – 11am at various members’ homes.

The group meets to share knowledge on multiple subjects including issues with computers, computer software, and how to avoid scams, including telephone scams and online scams (such as email).

“Write it down” Group (Currently in recess)

This new group offers members the opportunity to record the family and personal stories that our children have been nagging us about:

“write it down Dad, Mum, Auntie, Uncle, Grandad, Nana”.

The group meets 4th Tuesday at 2pm in the Kapiti Uniting Church Lounge, cnr Ngapaki and Taiapa Streets.
